Dr. Sternbach attended University of Pennsylvania graduating with a BA in 1987. He received his Medical Degree from McGill University in Montreal Quebec in 1991. He completed his Internship and Residency and Chief Residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center in 1997. Dr. Sternbach completed his Endovascular Surgery Fellowship Southern Illinois University in 1998 and his Vascular Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in 1999.

Dr. Sternbach is Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Albany Medical College.

Dr. Sternbach lives in Loudonville, NY with his wife, Katie and their four children.
