Dr. Roddy attended Georgetown University where he graduated in 1988. He received his Medical Degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 1992. He completed his internship at the Harvard/Deaconess hospital, his residency at Yale/New Haven Hospital and his vascular surgery fellowship at New England Medical Center in Boston.

Dr. Roddy is Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and currently serves on numerous committees on both national and regional vascular surgery societies. Dr. Roddy is an Associate Professor at Albany Medical College and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Ellis Hospital.  Additionally, Dr. Roddy is the CPT Advisor for the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and serves as Chair of the SVS Health Policy Committee.

Dr. Roddy lives in Delmar, NY with his wife Veronica and their three children. Outside of his career interests, he enjoys time with his family, golf, karate and snowboarding.
