Dr. Detschelt attended Geneseo State University in Geneseo, NY where she graduated in 1998.  She went on to get her Master's Degree in Neurobiology followed by her medical degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylania.  Dr. Detschelt completed her General Surgey Residency and Vascular Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital also in Pittsburgh . 

Dr. Detschelt resides in Niskayuna, NY with her husband and daughter.  She will see patients in our Schenectady office.
